Curb Appeal
Begin with the exterior of your home, better known as your curb appeal. Inspect the exterior of your house from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What awesome features seem hidden?
Knowing this assists us in determining what steps we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with refreshed paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers envision themselves enjoying game night in your living area, unwinding in your spa tub or getting work done in your home office? We want your Open House to pleasantly accept buyers and give them a sense of ease. I'll help you do this by recommending changes that highlight your house's features.
I'll help you put in storage items that give the illusion of clutter. Counter tops should be clutter-free. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get stored away too. We'll de-clutter your house. Disheveled or messy areas make your home look less spacious and buyers have a more difficult time picturing themselves calling your place home.
I know exactly where a room's best characteristics are and how to show them off. Enhancements that directly affect your dollars include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should get rearranged, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need replacing, and windows that need washing
We'll ensure your house has mass appeal and that it's comfortable, steering clear of "offensive" or "personalized" shades on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can think about temporary furnishings. You want your home to look inviting as opposed to bare.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when your home is ready to host an Open House, because all of the improvements mesh together to paint a picture of what buyers can expect after they choose to buy your house. Brightness is a mood changer and we'll part the curtains, and add lighting where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests take a walk-through of your home and make sure a pleasing fragrance flows from every area. We'll include cozy-looking throws, and place pillows on your sofa and bed. Buyers should feel like your current home is their future home. |
